Domestic Flights:

Passengers with check-in baggage must be at the baggage drop counter to have the documents verified and check-in baggage at least 45 minutes before the flight departure time.

If there is no check-in baggage, then they may proceed to the boarding gate 15 minutes before the flight departure time to have the documents verified. 

International Flights: 

Passengers are required to be at the airport baggage drop counter, with or without check-in baggage an hour before the flight departure time. Passengers flying from Quanzhou (Jinjiang) are required to be at the airport 45 minutes before the departure time. 

Note: Passengers who require special assistance and have checked in successfully online,  are required to be at the airport check-in baggage drop counter 90 minutes before the departure time for both domestic and international flights.

  • Hand carried Baggage: Each passenger is allowed to carry one piece of hand-carried baggage (45 inches dimension and 7 Kgs weight) small enough to be placed in the overhead hin or under the seat.
  • Philipine Airlines reserves the right to off load passengers for failure to arrive at the check in baggage drop counter on time. 
  • Philippine Airlines reserves the right to reseat passengers if there is an aircraft change or change seats for security, regulatory and operations reasons. 
  • Passengers with medical conditions should obtain a clearance certificate to fly from a medical practitioner.
  • Dangerous goods (articles or substances which are capable of posing a risk to health, safety, property or the environment) should not be carried in handy carry and checked baggage.
  • Passengers seated on emergency exit row must comply with safety regulations and requirements.
  • Present your web check in boarding pass, valid travel document and ID card at the airport.

Online Check-in opens 24 hours before the flight departure time and can be done up to 1 hour and 15 minutes before departure for international flights and 1 hour before departure for domestic flights.
