Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport is formerly referred to as Sahar International Airport which is the 2nd busiest airport in the country as per passenger traffic internationally. It handled approx 49.8 million in 2018 which is operated by Mumbai International Airport Limited (MIAL). 

Serves Mumbai Metropolitan Region. The airport has 2 terminals which are spread 750 hectares of total and area and also a dedicated six-lane, elevated road connecting the new terminal. This airport also adjudged the “World’s Best Airport” which handles approx 40 million passengers annually as per the report of Airports Council International. It is also awarded as “Best Airport in India and Central Asia” by Skytrax 2016 World Airport Awards. This airport’s name is based on Maratha king Chhatrapati Shivaji which is located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji was opened in 1942 which is the main hub for Air India, Vistara, and the focus city for Air India Express, Blue Dart Aviation.

Also, you can take private luxury coaches to travel between hubs and parts of Maharashtra.
